This operation was only from Rarotonga - not the Nth Cooks as seemed to have mysteriously appeared on this page!! (Corrected 1st December 2009).

I plan to return to Rarotonga, and will be on air from about May 7th this year (2013) for about 20 days. This will be a CW only operation running my K3 barefoot, and may include some form of activity in the WPX CW Contest during the last weekend of May.

Note : I will have no internet access at all for the entire period I am there, so no need to make suggestions of what band I should be on on DX Summit!!

I hope to be reasonably active, but the food, the weather, the sea, the people, are all very pleasant in Raro, so I might have other things to occupy my time as well!

I hope to see you on the bands.

QSLs: I would prefer direct QSLs if you really need a South Cooks QSL. Please include a self addressed envelope and either US $2, or a valid and correctly stamped IRC. Otherwise, the return will be via the bureau! Thanks.

Also, if you are an award chaser: I am a member of FOC ( First Class CW Operator's Club ) which is celebrating its' 75th anniversary during May 2013, so a QSO with me will help you with the award associated with this celebration. See www.g4foc.org for details and information about FOC. Good luck and have fun chasing the award. See also my alternate call E51FOC which will help you even more in chasing this award.

Hoping to see you on the bands.

73, Tony.
